Our Santa Clarita design lab is where innovation meets the water. Nestled in Southern California, it’s the hub where advanced materials science and paddling expertise collide. We use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to model hydrodynamics digitally, then bring prototypes to life for real-world testing in local breaks like Ventura and the Santa Monica Bay. Every design gets fine-tuned until it performs flawlessly - on screen and on the water.

We build paddleboards the same way we approach paddling: with purpose. Each board is engineered using aerospace-grade composites and refined by hand with classic surf craftsmanship. From ultra-durable thermoformed shells perfect for rentals, to feather-light carbon fiber constructions built for distance touring, every build is tailored for a specific type of paddler and paddling environment. Strength, weight, and performance - all dialed in.

At Pau Hana, testing isn’t a final step - it’s a cornerstone of our design process. We measure everything from glide efficiency and tracking to lateral stability and UV durability. Our boards go through impact resistance trials, thermal stress testing, and long-term water exposure to simulate real-world abuse. This data-backed approach doesn’t just meet industry standards - it redefines them.
