  • Proper care and maintenance are essential to prolonging the life and performance of your Pau Hana paddleboard. After each use, rinse your board with fresh water to remove salt, sand, and debris. Store it in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight to prevent UV damage and delamination. Regularly inspect the vent plug to ensure it's functioning correctly, as it helps regulate internal pressure and prevent delamination. For inflatable boards, avoid overinflation and ensure they're completely dry before deflating and storing to prevent mold growth. By following these guidelines, you can ensure your paddleboard remains in optimal condition for years to come. READ MORE ➜

Know what you want and what you are buying.

The word "stability" is open to interpretation. Maybe compared to other race boards, or boards that are more narrow, this may be stable. Coming from a the Big EZ (an extremely stable board) this board would seem hardly stable to a new user. But, do you want to go faster? Do you want to put in the work to go faster? Then you want this board. Look the Big EZ is like a '69 Cadillac floating down the road, and if you are trying to go fast, the Bid EZ about like trying to paddle that same car through the water LOL! This board took me some work to get used to. If you're young, fit, and have great balance then you should be fine. If you're older, or new to paddle board, I caution you with this model. Tips. 1) Know how to properly fall, the "trying to save the fall" will land you on the board and damage you and the board. 2) Keep your eyes on the horizon at all cost. Looking at the coming boat wake will land you in the water. "Don't look down!" 3) Consider working at home with some of the balance boards they have out there, make paddle motions too when using it. Instructors seem to make things hard with too much of the not needed info, and not enough of the need to know! You can hurt yourself on this thing!! I know I did! With that rant I want to add that IMO this is a GREAT in-between board, a next step if you will if you want to go fast. I would buy it again if it were stolen. While I wish it were more stable (I hear the Viper's wider tail is actually more stable than this board??) there is a trade off in paddling with stability vs speed learn about that. Finally, these are very nice boards, well made, care seems to be taken with them. So know your skill level, know what you want, and know what you are buying. If you do that you shouldn't be disappointed.

Fabulous with my pooch

I wanted an efficient stable board for lake paddling with my 80 lb. dog. The board is perfect for that. Moves efficiently for a wide board and provides awesome stability even when my dog stands up and moves around. It tracks well, handles chop with grace and is an overall delight.
