You can attach up to four accessories into the Base Plate to provide the maximum support for your board. The Base Plate accepts accessories and RAM® balls with 5/16" or 1/4" x 20 size thread.

Does this include the screw to go into the seamounts on my board? Can I mount a ram ball directly to the seamount instead?
Yes, the Base Plate comes with the screw that screws into the Sea Mount. You do not want to screw a Ram Ball Directly into the board. When a rod holder or a cup holder is attached to a Ram Ball thats screwed directly into the board you can potentially break the Sea Mount or worse crack the board from a fall or other accident. That is why we designed the Base Plate to protect the board from damage caused by a fall or other accident.
