AN EPIC RIDE
Follow the Pau Hana SUP crew up to the Payette River Games 2014 with some of the best stand up paddlers in the world as they compete to win this whitewater river race competition at Kelly's Whitewater Park in beautiful Cascade, Idaho.
WELCOME TO THE GAMES
The day begins with sunshine and perfect conditions on the water. We could not have lucked out more. There were almost too many opportunities for photoshoots and interviews.
PADDLE ON
There was alot of time for fun and playing around. It was hard not to enjoy ourselves in such a beautiful and inspiring place.
HIGH FIVES ALL AROUND
Look at that water! We couldn't help but feel the stoke all week long.
TOTALLY SOAKED
Some days offered more gnarly conditions than others, but our racers didn't get discouraged or intimidated. Taking the river head on, tensions quickened as everyone made their way up and down the rivers and lakes.
THE HOME STRETCH
Nearing the last few days of the competition, we found ourselves getting inspiration for new boards in the coming years and beyond.
A HUI HOU...
In Hawaiian, the phrase above means "until we meet again", and we could not be more excited to take on this adventure next year. We know it will be filled with great friends, great weather, and challenging paddles all around.
