While working on new river prototype boards for the 2016 GoPro Games, we’re reminded of the thrill and adventure from a few summers ago when we traveled to two of the season’s biggest competitions, The GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colorado and the Payette River Games in little town Cascade, Idaho.

SUP shaper Todd Caranto scouts out and SUP surfs the new Bend River Wave on his Pau Hana Carve stand up paddle board in Bend Oregon. After learning more about the wave from a local board and kayak shop, Todd scouts out the wave and decides to jump in.
